1) Today I decided to being what is sure to be a month long process of purging my hard drive of all of the music that I don't need.
You know, I'm never going to be a DJ so I can stop pretending that there's a reason I need to have Akon and Afroman on my computer. (Yes, I've only made it through the A's.
So, after a morning of listening to "O Canada" and Avril Lavigne, my neighbor stopped by to chat. He asked me if I am Canadian. My answer was obviously a HORRIFIED expression and a "NO, I am from America!" He asked which part. "Bordering on the South...". "Oh. Then how did you get a Canadian accent?"
Horror, my friends. I'm blaming the music.
2) If you want to steal a baby, check out Somerset Hospital near the Waterfront. Although I don't condone stealing babies, Leslie and I are positive we could do with with little to no resistance.
3) Dumisa's little boy is flipping adorable. Especially when he sneezes or yawns.

4) I saw something I never thought I would see. (other than a gigantic C-section scar on a complete stranger and more women openly nursing than I ever hope to see again) I saw a mom feeding a newborn from a cup. It was bizarre. Completely bizarre. She didn't manage to eat much of it, big surprise...
5) While I currently believe that the standard of care in the public hospital is probably decent (unless you have an urgent need), the system is so completely ridiculously inefficient and chaotic that I hope I never ever ever need it.

That's all for now. Hope your Saturday is full of lessons of your ow
