It is only noon and today has already been filled with unexpected blessings. First, even though I went to bed entirely too late last night, I woke up 30 minutes before my "responsible people wake up at 7" alarm and felt excited about the day! That's a miracle...
I have been slowly enjoying AMERICAN diet coke today, thanks to an incredible package from Chris Hale and some Gravitate love. I couldn't even believe how delicious that first sip was.
All of the other sips have been pretty unbelievable too.
The perma-rain stopped long enough for me to enjoy a short walk.
I found Old Bay seasoning.
I found a store that sells MIKE AND IKES. I didn't buy them due to my current dress dilemma, but it is really nice to know that they exist a mere 10 minutes from my door.
I bought a tape measure in an effort to monitor my progress toward fitting in said dress. I hate centimeters, and I had been putting off buying this item because, frankly, I don't want to accept the unit. But I bought it. AND I just opened it and it is in inches. Blessings galore, my friends.
Not to mention the blessing that after losing 14 pounds, I am actually only 1 inch away from dress size. Easy Peasy.
Now to practice my xhosa and wait for my American friends to wake up and call me on skype! Life is good.
